


WHO WE ARE
OUR FOUNDER
The Executive Director of the CRM® Foundation, Lisa Schwarz, M.Ed., is a licensed psychologist, consultant, and international educator working in private practice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and has a life coaching practice (with and without horse partners) in Beulah, Colorado. She has had a deep relationship with horses since early childhood, coming full circle back to them through the creation of CRM® EQUUS. Lisa is dedicated to developing the horse and mule rescue element of the CRM® Foundation, in tandem with the human healing programs which are offered.
Lisa is the developer of The Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM)®, a trauma therapy model that employs brain and body-based physiological safety as the foundation for healing, and is the primary author of The Comprehensive Resource Model®: Effective therapeutic techniques for the healing of complex trauma. She has presented at numerous international professional conferences since 2009.

For the past 33 years, Lisa has been dedicated to creating innovative treatment methods for working with severe dissociative disorders, attachment disorders, in-utero and ancestral trauma. She has also developed a novel practice for working with sports performance including Equestrian Performance work (The Sports Dissociation Model, 2008) and Military PTSD. Her work bridges neuroscience, spirituality and consciousness in trauma healing through a combination of traditional psychotherapy, somatic therapy, and indigenous healing methods. The CRM organization has spread world-wide since 2014, being offered in 14 countries across the globe.
Lisa offers individual, group, and corporate residential healing intensives and retreats in Pittsburgh, PA; Beulah, CO; and Cape May Point, NJ.


EQUINE EXPERTISE
Lisa has completed The Reflective Horse® (TRH) Mastery Program developed by Cassandra Ogier. As a TRH® Practitioner Lisa provides Equine Guided Empowerment® and Somatic Re-programming®, as part of the CRM® EQUUS system of healing. Lisa is currently enrolled in an additional international equine online training program, the TRT Method, created by Tristan Tucker. She is also developing a Freedom-based partnership/training protocol specifically for Off-Track-Thoroughbred rescues with Billie Lindquist of Arrowhead Equestrian, who is the professional trainer at Manchester Farms in Avella, Pennsylvania, and the home of the CRM® Foundation.

Greta Matos
CRM® Foundation President, Writer, Corporate Advisor, Equine+Soul+Earth Alchemist
Greta Matos, is the founder of Quila Quina Consulting and the Co-Founder and Director of Vision and Impact of CuraKuda. She has lived and worked in partnership with horses in varied capacities throughout her life. Having studied natural horsemanship early in her development, she nurtured non-dominance-based approaches to training and rehabilitating traumatized horses and teaching relational horsemanship to riders around the world. As a management consultant, she has worked for nearly 20 years with companies among the Fortune 100 to embed more responsible and ethical practices into their global sourcing and sustainable supply chain programs. She has worked extensively on issues related to modern day slavery, forced labor, child labor, abuse, and efforts to reduce the countless negative environmental impacts of production. She holds her certification in Equine Facilitated Learning & Coaching (EFLC) through The Academy of Coaching with Horses. Greta integrates her intuitive, practical and technical expertise partnering with horses, with her deep experience in corporate management strategy, sustainability, training and capacity building - to create wholehearted and impact-oriented experiences that support wholehearted personal and organizational transformation. She is based with her herd in Coyhaique, Patagonia. "It feels to me as though horses and CRM were meant to be woven together; and the potential that I can feel pulling us toward it is very much this broader space and application for CRM to come out into the world in a manner that expands beyond therapy and become integrated in more of our collective systems that are in dire need of healing."
Sarah Barrett Lepore
CRM® Foundation Treasurer, Clinical Counselor, Personal Trainer, Holistic Health Practitioner
Sarah Barrett Lepore is a licensed professional clinical counselor specializing in trauma therapy, holistic healing, and mind-body integration. She holds a Master of Arts in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from The Naropa University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Health-Physical Education from Wittenberg University. In addition, she is a Certified Personal Trainer, a Usui Reiki practitioner, and holds several specialist certifications for working with older adults, children and women in the realm of spiritual healing, nutrition for mental health and functional personal training. Sarah founded Chakra Strength, LLC who’s mission is to incorporate physical, psychological, nutritional and spiritual practices to support adults as they move through transitional times in their lives. Her earlier career includes roles in organ donation coordination, family support, and public education utilizing her strong background in grief counseling, hospital collaboration, and policy development in medical settings. She also was the health/wellness expert on a radio show with KVTA out of Ventura, CA where she was able to reach a larger audience with her review of current health trends. Sarah is in process of obtaining an equine therapy certification offered by the Lifemanship program. By facilitating human and equine healing with the CRM Equus project, she continues to deepen her passion of alignment utilizing land, animal, human relationship to expand the realms of healing for members of the world community. The focus of Sarah’s career is rooted in the depth of connection between the brain and body and how it shows up in human exploration of the psyche and soul. Standing on the shoulders of teachers who have come before, she joins our team bringing her expansive background in mind-body healing of self and other, a path that began in her teens and continues to evolve along the way.


Talia Parker, LMHCA
CRM® Foundation Secretary, Psychotherapist, Wellness Coach, Educator, Consultant
Talia Parker (she/her) is a Mental Health Counselor and Wellness Coach, specializing in complex and generational trauma, somatic healing, soul work, and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. Her work bridges modern neuroscience and therapy with ancient healing modalities and spirituality for holistic healing, mind-body-soul. Talia is passionate about helping people process and clear traumatic material from their systems, so they Re-Connect with their wholeness, power, joy, and true, authentic Selves. Talia is an Advanced Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM) Healer, Trainer and Consultant. She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University, concentrating in Transpersonal Psychology, and holds certifications in various trauma, somatic, psychedelic-assisted and mindfulness-based therapies. Talia founded her private practice, Further Healing Therapies PLLC, on the Eastside of Seattle, WA, offering therapy and ketamine-assisted therapy to those who reside in Washington State, as well as Somatic Wellness Coaching to clients globally. Talia also holds a Bachelors in Business Administration and Finance from Babson College, and her earlier career included working in advertising for Netflix, Royal Caribbean and T-Mobile, as well as environmental education and conservation for Hawai'i's Department of Land and Natural Resources. "CRM is a powerful, holistic system of healing that has been a game-changer in the treatment of trauma. CRM's roots in the natural world and ancient wisdom makes it a beautiful, synergistic partner with horses. I am delighted by the opportunity to expand CRM's application and potential to other populations, species and systems, who are also in need of deep, thorough healing. Matthew Green
Writer, Collective Healing Correspondent, Conscious Creator
Matthew is a husband, father, journalist and student of trauma healing. He began his journey as a reporter in conflict zones for Reuters and the Financial Times, and is the author of two books: the Wizard of the Nile on warlord Joseph Kony, and Aftershock on the trauma healing journeys of British soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. He is global investigations editor at nonprofit climate news service DeSmog. Building on years of exploring healing modalities, Matthew has spent the past four years studying the psychological and mystical principles of integrating individual, ancestral and collective trauma with the international facilitator Thomas Hübl. Matthew is creator of the Resonant World newsletter and podcast serving the global trauma healing movement, and is co-founder of the Resonant Man initiative, a visionary international men's initiative.
